What Everybody Knows
What Everybody Knows is an experimental series of on-chain imagery by PRMNT. Taking inspiration from the song by Leonard Cohen, each artwork is made from fully on-chain elements composed together to create a humanly readable image. View the complete work at prmnt.art.
Taken individually each token represents a statement that is known. Collectively, the works can be viewed implemented in a gallery at display.prmnt.art, where statements are randomly selected and combined in random ways, hinting at the commonality and humour of the original work.
Limited Edition
With only 42 tokens minted, this collection is designed to showcase how on-chain artwork may be composed into and from other works.
Since each work is 100% on-chain, No IPFS or Server hosting is used in the making of this collection.
You can always retrieve your art by using the contract getArtwork and getSvg functions.
Composability
Each letter is in turn composed from just 6 base shapes, themselves individually minted.
In this way, entire messages can be built fram what is quite minor building blocks: mutability in an immutable platform.
